Our Story
Hi, my name is Zara Saad and I am the CEO and Founder of Spill The Tea ☕!
Through my own experience as a QMUL LLB graduate and aspiring solicitor, I feel navigating applications, rejections, interviews, mentoring schemes, networking events, placements and grades can be extremely overwhelming to juggle all at once. Sometimes, the pressure of pursuing a legal career becomes so challenging that our motivation for why we chose law becomes lost as we begin fixating more and more on what we believe firms want from us.
I am a strong believer that knowledge and opportunities should be shared, never hoarded. Whether you are already working within or aspiring to enter the legal profession, or simply love legal drama, this platform is an opportunity for you to reclaim your voice and educate others on legal trends and issues that you find fascinating to dissect. Your blog can range from unpacking celebrity court scandals and landlord horror stories to unspoken truths of working in the commercial sector. You can choose a category from our webpage to focus on... all we ask is that you respect our writing guidelines and pour your heart into your work.
Although AI is fantastic as a research and administrative tool, it cannot replace uniquely human traits such as cultural awareness, ethical judgement, adaptability and emotional and in-person communication. Therefore, please ensure YOUR voice, YOUR writing style and YOUR thoughts are being presented as that will help make your piece even more engaging, relatable and authentic.
If you have any questions, please complete the enquiry form found in our "Contribute To Our Mission" section and we will do our best to respond 😊
